This work presents a composition of organic and water-like shapes using a variety of bold tones and painterly strokes. The thinner line designs emerge outwards against the more globular, weighty cobalt blue and yellow forms. Representing water through both its wholeness and compositional molecular forms, the piece is part of a larger body of the artist’s work investigating macro and micro infinity.

Laura Myntti (born 1962, Minnesota) is an American artist noted for her paintings, etchings, and in situ drawings; she also works with found objects, mosaics, and photo collage. Her work is widely exhibited, and her collections are held in a variety museums.
