Everything Connected: Land, Body, Cosmos Exhibition

  • Self Help Graphics & Art (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Join us for the opening of Everything Connected: Land, Body, Cosmos, curated by our 2021 Commemorative Print Artist, Miyo Stevens-Gandara on Saturday, October 9 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in our gallery. The in-person exhibition pairs nine visual artists with nine performative artists (music, theatre, poetry) to develop a body of work around the idea that everything is connected– nothing in the world exists on its own: our existence, community, environment, health, and well-being, cultural practices, and the planet. Participants can view the artwork in person and experience the audio piece through QR codes. A small self-published catalog will be available. The exhibition will run from October 9 - November 24, 2021 and the public may view the exhibition by appointment on Eventbrite.

Tip: Would you like a brief tour of the exhibit? RSVP on Eventbrite for the exhibition and drop in for our 20 minute guided tours during the season on October 2, 9, 16, and 23 at 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Note: This experience is best enjoyed with headphones. If you do not have headphones please keep your volume low.

Register to see the show on another date here.

In accordance with City of Los Angeles municipal code, Self Help Graphics will need to verify proof of vaccination for people visiting the site 12 years of age or older, or a negative covid test taken within 72 hours of being onsite. All people 18 years of age and older will have to show identification as well. Thank you for working with us to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and that we're in compliance with the City of Los Angeles ordinance. People who do not show either proof of vaccination or a negative covid test will unfortunately be turned away.
