Learn to make a calaca cartonería (papier-mâché skeleton) in our Dancing Calacas workshop. Artist William Acedo will lead this special four-date series at Self Help Graphics on Friday, October 8 at 7:00 p.m. and Thursdays October 14, 21 and 28 at 7:00 p.m.

Sign up as an individual or with a partner or a small group to create a calaca together. Due to the time intensive process, only one calaca will be created per group with a maximum of 10 calacas. 

Fee: $25 per person. All materials will be provided. Open to participants 12 years of age and up.

Disclaimer: Participants who register for the Dancing Calacas workshop must commit to attend all four dates. Additionally, we are asking participants to loan their calaca to SHG for the celebration on October 30th.
