Join artists from the Nikkei Progressives Collective to create Paper Cranes in conjunction with an installation in the gallery space. Learn how the Tsuru (Origami Cranes) artwork symbolize solidarity with Japanese American social justice advocates working to end detention sites and support front-line immigrant and refugee communities.

Every first Saturday of the month, SHG hosts FREE art workshops for the whole family. Our family workshops are bilingual and for all ages (English/Español). Tag us in your photos at #SHGWorkshops.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshops. Registration is preferred, although drop-ins are welcome.
