D.I.Y. Silkscreen Workshop with Dewey Tafoya

Learn basic printmaking using a stencil or photo process in our DIY Silkscreen Workshop ($30) on Saturday, July 16th from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with Master Printer, Dewey Tafoya!

In this class, participants will learn to transfer their designs or photos onto a screen. Prepared screens can be used to print on a variety of surfaces including paper, textiles and clothing. Register on Eventbrite to participate. Hurry and register, space is limited– this workshop will sell out!

Did you register? Know before you go:

  • Bring two copies of either a photo or design, printed on transparency sheets in black and white, to this workshop (acetate/transparency film for inkjet printers). The printouts should measure no larger than 8-1/2 x 11 inches.

  • A limited number of screens are available for purchase. If you wish to purchase on site, let your teaching artist know.

  • Participants are encouraged to bring their own paper, flat blank t-shirt(s) or tote bags, on which to print their designs.

This workshop is recommended for ages 12+. Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
