Join us on May 20th for a youth-centered, youth-led Wellness Wednesday on Zoom! The session will focus on connection, meditation, and creativity and will be led by members of the Self Help Graphics Youth Committee and Youth Leaders, as part of the BHC Boyle Heights Health Happens with Prevention group. During the session, you will have an opportunity to participate in a grounding meditation, followed by art-making focused on self-care. Additionally, the facilitators will be sharing mental health resources and offering giveaways! To participate in the activities, all you need are drawing tools of your choice and paper. Please note that this program will NOT be streamed on social media.
Wellness Wednesday is a monthly event, now taking place virtually during COVID-19, focused on increasing the accessibility of mental health resources in the community through meditation, information sharing, and art-making. The event happens on the third Wednesday of every month and was created by members of the Self Help Graphics Youth Committee.
