In response to the Covid-19 state of emergency across California, and due to our building closure, we will bring our next Artist Lab convening “Resources for Creatives During the Covid-19 State of Emergency” online Tuesday, March 31st from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. live on Facebook, via Zoom. We will host a panel discussion to share urgent resources for creatives during this unprecedented time. The panel discussion will be moderated by Marvella Muro, SHG Director of Artistic Programs and Education and will be joined by Arts and Culture Management Consultant and Former Executive Director of Self Help Graphics, Evonne Gallardo; LA Mayor’s East Area Representative, Edna Degollado; and Holistic Healer, Xochitl Palomera.
Those of you who wish to join the Zoom meeting may RSVP on our Eventbrite page, otherwise you can view the live stream on our Facebook page on March 31 at 6:00 p.m. We will email the private Zoom link on Monday, March 30th to the RSVP list.
Do you have questions that you want us to share with our panelists for the live discussion? Post your questions on our social media posts promoting this virtual event. While we may not be able to answer all of your questions during the panel Q&A, we will do our best to answer as many as possible live and will post resources mentioned on our blog after the event. The deadline to post your questions and to RSVP to our Zoom panel discussion is 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29.
