In the spirit of Self Help Graphics’ Annual Dia de Los Muertos Celebration procession, we invite you to join us on Sunday, November 1 at 1:00 p.m. for a safe, fun and family-friendly Día de Los Muertos Caravan, from East LA to Boyle Heights! Bring out the tissue paper and create golden marigolds and bright colored papel picado banners. Paint your calacas and convert your car into a portable altar!
This mobile event is a way to honor loved ones who have passed and the many lives lost due to COVID-19, as well as systemic and institutional racism. Let’s celebrate their voices and honor their lives!
We ask that the public keep at least a 6 ft. distance between vehicles, and those who can wear masks do so; in particular when car windows are rolled down. Will you participate? RSVP here: bit.ly/DODCaravan.
