We invite you to practice mindfulness and learn how caring for oneself is crucial at our next Wellness Wednesday program on July 15 at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. Psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher, Susan López, will lead an introductory workshop on Self-Compassion practices.

During a time when so many monumental issues are impacting us on so many levels, self-compassion practices can offer us a refuge and tool for holding and addressing our challenges and pain. Join us for a discussion on what self-compassion is, how it impacts the brain and nervous system, and a community self-compassion meditation. There will also be an opportunity for sharing and discussion around the challenging feelings and experiences that can arise during this time and how it is impacting our communities.

This is meant to be a safe and supportive space that also offers practical tools for support during these turbulent times. Pre-registration required here. Participants will receive information on how to access the event through Zoom upon registration.
