Take a lunch break and meet the Mexican artist, Gabriela González Leal. She will speak about her art practice and the playful narratives she creates through sculptural stencils using Mexican monetary paper or molding soccer balls into masks of Ancient American deities. The concept of children as archetypal characters, symbols of the future, origin, and allegorical figures are continual themes in her work, building ties between the present and her Mexica roots.
