ImMigration Exhibition Walk-Through & Panel Discussion

Join us for a gallery walk-through of the exhibition ImMigration led by select featured artists. The walk-through will be followed by a panel discussion on migration and art with Pavel Acevedo, Marianne Sadowski, and Phumelele Tshabalala. 

ImMigration is a collaborative project that asked artists to respond to the complicated and layered themes around migration as part of unique visual exploration. Each participating artist created at least one 15” right-angle triangular print responding to their personal reaction to the theme. This collaboration explores creative participation while visually presenting a conceptual migration of interpretations as each individual becomes part of the whole. ImMigration is curated by Mary Sherwood Brock in collaboration with the Los Angeles Printmaking Society.

ImMigration Exhibition is on view January 11, 2020 - February 22, 2020. SHG Gallery is open Tuesday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Mondays by appointment.
