The Barrio Stomp at Dia de los Muertos

For the 2015 celebration, Self Help Graphics & Art takes a step back into the past! In collaboration with the creators of Barrio Boogie, Nicolas Centino x J.C. De Luna of Barrio Dandy Aesthetics, we pay homage to our resilient musical legacy at the 42nd Annual Día de los Muertos. Inspired by the post revolutionary spirit of the 1920s, we’re tipping our hats to the bandas and orquestas of the past by highlighting the best and brightest of a new generation of Mexican and American roots musicians. Tying in with this year’s theme, we end our musical journey with a revolution of soul with legend Brenton Wood. With a cross generational spirit in mind, this musical experience is sure to delight and inspire contemporary ears with a nod to a more classic era.
