2020 Annual Print Fair Begins June 13 With New 2019-2020 Print Releases #APF20

By Jennifer Cuevas

Self Help Graphics & Art will host its virtual Annual Print Fair (APF) from June 13 - June 30, 2020. The APF is a highly anticipated opportunity for art lovers to acquire new, limited edition, serigraphs, relief and intaglio prints created by artists in 2019-2020 through the Professional Printmaking Program and the Open Print Studio. The virtual event will offer new print releases from Ateliers, such as Consejo Gráfico Nacional’s special project Perro Mundo, Queerida (for the first time in its entirety!), Día de los Muertos, Experimental and the 2020 Census themed, Make it Count. “Self Help Graphics & Art is proud to release new 2019-2020 prints created over the last year, as part of the 2020 Annual Print Fair. Although we cannot currently gather in person due to COVID-19, we have made these artworks available for sale on our website, and Facebook for the first time, for the public to continue to support this annual tradition; which in turn, contributes to the legacy of our Professional Printmaking Program,” said Marvella Muro, Director of Artistic Programs and Education.

This year’s APF will be held online with prints and gift cards for sale on SHG’s website and its Facebook page (with the possibility of in-person print purchases, when COVID-19 restrictions in the County and City of Los Angeles allow the organization to safely open its building to the public). Stay tuned for updates on the SHG blog and their social media channels– Facebook @selfhelpgraphics, Instagram @SHG1970 and Twitter @SHG1970.

As a thank you to SHG supporters, the organization is offering the following discounts on website print sales (note discounts available only on website, not Facebook purchases):
