Boyle Heights Youth Launch a Youth Mayoral Candidate

BREAKING NEWS: Boyle Heights — On February 8, City of Los Angeles youth launched a campaign for a youth mayoral candidate in an effort to raise the voice of youth and highlight youth needs.

The youth candidate, Jacky, platform highlights a dire need for a Youth Development Department and investment in youth programming that lifts youth toward success rather than punish them through criminalization.

Other cities have this, why not LA?!
