BIO:

Born in Los Angeles, CA; Cynthia Velasquez's work centers the ‘home’ as a space shaped by queer diaspora and memory. Cynthia's work includes multimedia painting, ink, clay and photography. Cynthia has participated in several solo and group shows and film festivals in the Southwest of the US and Chicago, IL. Cynthia studied at California Institute of the Arts in the Aesthetics and Politics Program.
