Self Help Graphics & Art Building Closure Extended to May 1

In observance of the recommendations placed by the State of California, the County and City of Los Angeles related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Self Help Graphics & Art has extended its building closure from March 31, 2020 to May 1, 2020, to further assist in fattening the COVID-19 curve. “We acknowledge the hardships that many are experiencing at this time, including the creative community, which is feeling heavily the impacts of venue and public space closures resulting in lost work and wages.  Although our doors are not open right now, our staff continues to work remotely during weekday business hours. We are exploring ways to bring some of our programs online in the near future and will announce details about such opportunities on social media,” said Executive Director, Betty Avila.

As a reminder, our gallery remains closed and all scheduled on-site workshops, studio, venue rentals and activations are postponed or cancelled through the duration of the closure.Anyone who has pre-paid studio, venue rentals and workshops during the closure will be refunded in the immediate future. While we are still accepting online shop orders, we ask for your patience as shipments may be delayed for several weeks. In the interim, should you need to contact our administrative team, please email info@selfhelpgraphics.com or our individual team members and we'll return your correspondence as promptly as possible. We appreciate your cooperation during this time and look forward to opening our doors when it is safe to do so.
