Self Help Graphics & Art Hosts Annual Print Fair June 29 and People's Printmaking Week

Self Help Graphics & Art’s Annual Print Fair on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 12:00 PM- 5:00 PM is a highly anticipated one-day opportunity for art lovers to see new works by over 30 artists between 2018-2019. Shop for new, limited edition fine art prints created by dozens of artists through SHG’s Professional Printmaking Program. The Annual Print Fair and Exhibition features serigraphs, monoprints, as well as new relief and intaglio print editions for sale. You can also shop prints online! SHG is located at 1300 E. 1st Street LA, CA. in the neighborhood of Boyle Heights, just east of Little Tokyo DTLA.
SHG believes in making printmaking accessible to the community and leading up to their Annual Print Fair is the People’s Printmaking Week with free and donation-based workshops offered evenings from June 25-27, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM (space is limited). The public is also encouraged to attend SHG’s Utopia/Dystopia exhibition panel discussion on Friday, June 28th from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The public can sign up for the June 29 Annual Print Fair workshops here. All materials for the People’s Printmaking Week workshops will be provided by SHG. No experience is necessary to participate.
Parking and Transportation
The public is encouraged to rideshare to the venue, or take public transit such as the Metro Gold Line to the Pico/Aliso stop, located across the street from SHG. Limited on-site or street parking is available. Patrons of the Annual Print Fair who need differently abled parking on site should contact the office to make prior arrangements. SHG is a mobile accessible and differently abled space for all people.
